Dr. Zhivago (cartoonist/author) along with Chula Vista City Arts & Youth Advocates, principals Dr. Eric Banatao and Lalaine Perez, Chula Vista City Cultural Arts commissioner Jennifer Rodriguez, and business owner/brand licensing partner Sole Leano discuss the importance of the arts in schools. They will share a successful three-year program in basic cartoon and animation that utilized digital drawing and vector graphic tools in the schools. Guests participate in a creative workshop and presentation moderated by Analyn Simon.
