Are you a writer with a great idea for a comic book series, but you can't draw...or maybe you're an artist looking for a great script to draw? Perhaps both of you are looking to jumpstart your careers in comics. At Comic-Con 2015, the Comic Creator Connection
just might bring you together.
With the help of sponsor comiXology,
Comic-Con will once again host the Comic Creator Connection, an event that puts writers and artists together to see whether they can find their creative counterparts. In its new home in the Santa Rosa Room at the Marriott Marquis and Marina hotel
(right next to the Convention Center's Hall A), the CCC will continue its tradition of helping people get together to create great comics!
Here's how it works: in two 2-hour sessions - on Thursday, July 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM
and Sunday, July 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM -
writers and artists can sit down and meet each other in a neutral environment. In 5-minute sessions, you can talk one-on-one with individual prospective collaborators about their ideas and skills. At the end of each 5-minute period, you will get up and move on to the next person. If you're interested in furthering the conversation, simply exchange contact information before you move on. Please note: All participants in Comic-Con’s Comic Creator Connection must have purchased a single-day badge to the day on which they would like to participate or a 4-day badge to Comic-Con 2015.
