Raised in San Diego in Pacific Beach, Bay Park, and North Park. Mod in high school, zipping about the city on a vintage Italian scooter. The Ken Cinema was my second home through junior high and high school. First attended Comic-Con when I was 11, in 1975 AND 1976. Favorite comics as a young teen: Red Sonja; X-Men; Spiderman. Favorite in high school: Elfquest. Member number in WaRP fan club was like 182. Favorite live-action translation at present: Netflix's Daredevil/Alias (Jessica Jones). Though I love, love, love the casting in The Avengers films. Favorite show at the moment is Game of Thrones (been an HBO Originals nut since Band of Brothers/Six Feet Under/Sopranos/Deadwood); before that it was the reimagined Battlestar Galactica. For lighter fare, I enjoyed Chuck and now iZombie. Looking forward to HBO's reimagining of Westworld.
